Birch Aquarium: Little Blue Penguin Campaign
We glommed on to “Meet the World’s smallest penguins” as our primary tagline because it served a dual purpose. It was both a fun call to action AND highlighted one of the key attributes that set Little Blues apart from any other penguins you can see in California. We kicked off the ad campaign a month before the opening, with ads running in targeted print publications, as well as on our social media channels and a few choice outdoor ads.

Birch Aquarium- Little Blue Penguin Campaigns: Secondary Campaign
Secondary campaign that played off some of unique characteristics for social media ads. Little Blues dive up to 800 times a day, so we played off of that in this playful series. We also incorporated video so you could see the penguins swimming! By adding the secondary campaign, we were able to swap out content and retarget audiences with fresh, new content to avoid fatigue and keep Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins top of mind.
Birch Aquarium: Summer Camps (COVID)
Along with everyone else, Birch Aquarium needed to build back after the pandemic. Summer camps came back in 2021, but quite a few changes. We wanted parents to know that the safety of their children was number one, but also show that they’ll still have fun! It might look a little different, but they can still learn about ocean conservation and have a great time while doing it!
GLEN ELLYN PARK DISTRICT SUMMER CAMP: DIGITAL ADS
Creative Direction: Vibe for the suite should be fun, bold, and summery. Geared toward all ages. Variety of summer camps for young children, tweens, and teens that run throughout the summer. For kids ages 2.5 to high school. Day camps, sports, nature, science, and more. Flyers/Posters were created to mirror this look.
GLEN ELLYN PARK DISTRICT TENNIS PROMOS :: DIGITAL ADS
Creative Direction: The vibe for the suite should be fun, sporty, and summery. Geared toward all ages. Tennis lessons for kids and adults for residents and guests of the Glen Ellyn Park District. Flyers/Posters were created to mirror this look.
GLEN ELLYN PARK DISTRICT: HOLES AND KNOLLS Mini Golf
Creative Direction: Hole & Knolls Mini Golf Course is located within the Glen Ellyn Park District (Glen Ellyn, IL). Holes & Knolls features two 18-hole miniature golf courses and a clubhouse in a 25-acre park setting. The course design incorporates cascading waterfalls & streams. I was contracted to create a modern version of their logo, but also an entire marketing suite to refresh their look and feel.
